My CPN contacted him and he ok’d it. Hopefully I wont need it permanently, just till my system gets used to my current meds
I was on procycladine years ago when I was on stelazine
Yeah it is handy. Is stelazine one an old fashioned med? Like chlorpromazine? The older meds often need procyclidine too
I was on it age eighteen when schizophrenia started without it my head shot up to the ceiling scary horrible experience
My pdoc prescribed procyclidine for me when he saw me in October, but he didn’t write out an actual prescription . I thought the GP’s surgery would contact me to pick up a prescription for it, but they didn’t. It was only via a health check that a nurse saw I was down as being prescribed it.
I’m now taking it but for the life of me can’t see why I need it. There’s certainly nothing that stands out as “Wow you really need this!” Obviously the pdoc spotted something though to prescribe it.
He must have seen some muscle twitches or spasms. A lot of these can be unnoticeable to the patient but a trained eye can see it.
