My doc just put me in Trifluoperazine to work with Clozaril and lamotrigine.
How has it worked for you?

Also known as Stelazine. Never heard of it.

Its atypical right? I’ve heard of it, never tried it.
I’m not sure if it’s used often.
It had been helpful, teifluoperazine is a good med, and combined with clozapine have good results,

I was on stelazine when first diagnosed age 18 I was on it ten years im now 47
It was very good at the time
I had to take procycladine with it
It was good in lots ways
I had a full time job on it
I can’t go back on it now though I tried and relapsed
Stelazine doesn’t go well with antidepressants so I had to manage my mood and at the start I wasn’t motivated
I was on stelazine 20 years ago when they diagnosed me with paranoid psychosis. that stuff wrecked me. It an old psychotic if i remember correctly. I did nothing but drool and twitch on it and walk funny. God awful for me. Also took procyclidine for the side-effects. My body simply could not tolerate the stuff.
