I got off antipsychotics for BP for almost a month.
No symptoms of psychosis yet but I take mood stabilizer, lithium.
I hope I could survive on lithium.
Any advise?

If it’s only been a month you’re not really feeling it yet.
I suggest you talk to your doctor and get a plan to go back on APs.
If you’re unhappy with them, try a different medication or dose.
I can’t advise you on that because I’m not a psychiatrist. All I can say is try to trust your dr and do what they say to do
Thanks
But in relapses my main problems were associated with mood disorders and not psychosis.
I think your doctor probably had you on them for a reason.
Why did you quit?
Thank @LilyoftheValley
I don’t have any hallucinations, delusion or paranoia Wich are characteristics of psychosis. Or according to @Charles_Foster it’s yet soon to judge.
Oh ok. What is your diagnosis?
@Charles_Foster I have to move my feet and hands constantly like doing piano.
And another reason is brain fog and lessen of creativity.
I now believe there is no need for antipsychotics.
Don’t know if I’m right or wrong but lithium makes me normal again
Bipolar type 1
Previously and wrongly diagnosed with schizophrenia
Can’t argue with that.
I know how it feels.
I hope you get the result you want from all this but do advise you do it under your doctor’s orders.
AP withdrawal can be difficult.
I have no depression episodes. I only get high. My low moods last only for about half hour or even less.
Once I was manic for almost six month. Got hospitalized by the police whom my family called for
Yup
Even healthy people can have withdrawal problems if they take AP long enough
Lithium is the most effective for BP long term. However at the doses used for BP its also terrible for the kidneys especially when used long term
Good luck and all the best!
Thank you @AmICrazyYet and @MisterApple
