I dropped my old one by accident so I got a new one along with a phone case, screen protector, and a new popitsocket! So far I’m really enjoying my new phone the phone was $49 the case $12 the screen protector $13 and the popitsocket $10 and since I’m married to a Walmart associate I got a 10% discount
Enjoy your new phone. I’ve been thinking of replacing mine since I think there is something wrong with the speaker in it. I get static when listening and it’s often hard to understand whomever I’m talking to.
I thought a cellphone would be more expensive . . .
@Jayster it’s straight talk they are cheap
My smartphone was $150 + taxes + shipping. I ordered it from Consumer Cellular by calling them. I didn’t have to do anything. They handled it all. I didn’t have to take the SIM card out of my old phone and put it in the new one.
I got an $850.00 iPhone12 for $150.00. That was in February. I’m still trying to figure out if there’s a catch. I got it from AT&T who consistently has bad customer service in my experience.
I called them three days ago and the woman was cagey. I asked her why I cannot see my wireless phone account online and I also wasn’t sure about how much my monthly bill is. She assured me I can see my account online and told me my monthly bill was $95.00! I had to get off the phone because my counselor was at the door.
My sister helps me a little with my money sometimes and when I told her my monthly bill was $95 she flew off the handle. Got mad and told me even people with great jobs and money don’t pay almost a $100 a month for telephone service. And I’m living off a janitors pay. This is typical of AT&T in my experience and I have to get on the phone with them again and straighten this out.
@77nick77 @Bowens @anon54988740 @Jayster my monthly phone bill is $53
Yeah, thats a lot. You’re probably paying off that phone in your bill. I bought my own phone then got service for $15.00 a month. Mine is prepaid though.
My monthly bill is $61 if I don’t go over 15gb data. If I do it’s $72.
@anon54988740 I get unlimited everything for $53 with straight talk
That’s good. I don’t have a car anymore and have to use the public buses, so any business I can do over the phone or online is what I do.
I was able to go cheap because I don’t use my phone for internet or anything much. I use my computer for that. I just use the wifi in the house for internet anyway.
@anon54988740 I have auto refill and you can order a phone on walmar.com
I don’t have a computer or internet service, so I do everything over my smartphone.
@anon54988740 Walmart app?
That’s good to know. Thanks @Twialine
@Bowens I get that I use my phone everywhere and for most things
No problem @anon54988740
I don’t have cable TV anymore either. I use an antenna. What I was paying for cable and the landline phone I used to have, I spend on a smartphone and save some money.
We use antenna too but we also have streaming services through the internet, so there is tons to watch.
