Today my wife and I made presents for each other, just because. Sometimes you just need to do that kind of thing to keep the relationship flourishing. Got a call from the pdoc which was pretty positive. My blood work came back, and my blood sugar is 75, well below the threshold for diabetes. This makes me elated. As we all know, these meds can wreak havoc on our bodies. My Depakote level (for seizures, not bipolar) is good. He increased my antipsychotic because I just started it, and we’re not quite at the therapeutic window yet. He’s is going to increase it again when I see him Wednesday. The med (Loxitane) has been great at reducing my agitation and helping me get good sleep. I have voices and paranoia, but I have the skills to keep it controlled. Things are going well right now. This weekend we have to file taxes. Ugh. Hate that stuff. Other than that, I’m in line to have a great weekend, and I hope you all do too.
