Google criticized as AI Overview makes obvious errors, saying President Obama is Muslim and that it’s safe to leave dogs in hot cars

Scary stuff.

They’re going to figure it out
The problem is that they’re behind Chat GPT and they can’t handle it. They will eventually get rid of the bugs. They should have just waited to release.

Thanks for the tip. I’m going to go try this now.

I just asked chatGPT

“cheese not sticking to pizza”

And it said:

If you’re dealing with cheese that’s sliding off your pizza, fear not! Here are some practical tips to keep that cheesy goodness where it belongs:

  1. Grease the Pan: Before adding the dough, make sure to grease the pizza pan with a thin layer of oil or cooking spray. This helps prevent sticking and ensures a crispy crust.
  1. Toppings Balance: Overloading your pizza with too many toppings can cause the cheese to slide off. Consider reducing the number of toppings or using smaller, evenly distributed toppings to help the cheese adhere better³.

Now, let’s address the rather unconventional advice that Google’s AI provided: adding glue to your pizza. Yes, you read that correctly! Apparently, Google’s AI suggested mixing about 1/8 cup of non-toxic glue (yes, like Elmer’s glue) into the sauce to give it more tackiness. :upside_down_face: However, I strongly recommend not following this advice. Glue is definitely not a pizza topping! The AI’s source for this recommendation appears to be an obscure Reddit comment from 11 years ago, which was likely meant as a joke¹. So, let’s stick to the traditional methods and leave the glue for arts and crafts! :pizza::cheese:

Remember, pizza is all about creativity, but let’s keep it deliciously safe!

Since AI data comes from real world data from various sources, frankly I am not surprised that AI is coming up with some real nonsense. After all, some of the posters of nonsense on social media and elsewhere are also often the most prolific posters. Remember the inject yourself with bleach nonsense posted by one prolific poster (who shall remain unnamed) during the early days of covid. So garbage in = garbage out in terms of AI.

I just got ChatGPT

You should also consider downloading the Microsoft “copilot” or “bing” app.

That’s what I use.
