Good review at work

I have been at my job for two years now. Got my mid year review yesterday and got a meets on everything. An exceeds would be better but usually I haven’t gotten a meets on everything and was marginal. My boss said I improved greatly.

I am so happy. I still want a new job but at least I am not going to get fired anytime soon I guess. I can’t keep pace with normies anymore but I guess I am am making it. I have a pretty good job with benefits and a retirement and a 401k.

I even get a raise soon. I think right about now. I have a government job. They say it’s hard to get fired from a government job but with schizophrenia I got used to getting fired or having to quit.

Well I got an email today that I am not getting my raise because I didn’t get fully successful on my last annual review. At least I did better on the mid year.

Have to keep trying I guess.

Well. I belong to a union and the president says my boss is wrong and the letter he gave me has two violations. He said I improved so I shouldn’t have gotten the letter. He also says I didn’t get 60 days notice.

He filed a grievance for me today asking for my raise retroactively with interest. Went over my managers head. This could backfire I guess.
