Good APS for anxiety? dislike Abilify a lot right now

So much anxiety from it… very unfomfortable and makes me work twice as hard as breathing…

I know i probably just another one bagging out the medicine… but i have posted another post about Abilify anxiety… and got a lot of reponses that they agree with the anxiety from it… is there… possibly another medicine that can counter act the Anxiety… i hate it… a lot.

What helps me with this anxiety or akathisia is Cogentin. It makes my life a lot easier. Hope you get relief soon.

My pdoc dropped the dose about two weeks ago from 30mg to 20mg and added in another AP. This has helped.

Could you explore a dose reduction or a combo?

Last time i said that… pdoc actually increased the dosage.

Anxiety is classed as a serious side effect from what I have read about Abilify, and I posted a similar thread a while back and there was a consensus that this was the cause of a lot of it.

Abilify and clozapine… Im currently on at the moment.

No. My current ap is Invega and I had bad akathisia on it and my doc prescribed Cogentin. I’m grateful for it. It might be worth mentioning to your doc.

Just tell them you are suffering
Do you take antidepressants for anxiety and mood

You might want to ask doctor about antidepressants they can help with anxiety mood and motivation

Maybe mood and motivation are not the problem except the anxiety.

Got unwell . So he put me on it… It kind of averagely helped. But the anxiety came… Very uncomfortable, definitely.

I’m also having akathisia on invega injection in my legs. I am frustrated right now because nothing has been offered for the akasthesia though my psychiatrist diagnosed me with it and I’m also very depressed.
