It’s tough. Have some boiled sweets at hand to occupy the mouth and craving. It lasted for 2 weeks for me and then no cigarette now for 13 years.

I think people who can’t stop smoking are weak

Well then, 93% of people are weak since 7% will succeed at quitting smoking on their first try.

It’s strange how we have delusions and are paranoid about people poisoning us and spying on us etc.

Cigarettes they doing it with our knowledge and we completely fine with it. I once read a study about how 70 % of sz people smoke or something like that.

Not caring if one dies is probably more like it…

Let us know how it goes. I’d like to quit vaping someday.

It’s tougher with e cig for me considering how much I vape than smoking. I just finished off my pack which lasted from Saturday to Tuesday. The first day the cigs weren’t enough for me because I was used to hitting the vape all day. Then I adjusted to 5-6 cigs per day and I must say really enjoyed myself. Won’t go back to smoking permanently though. Just waiting for my vape in the mail. I’ll probably get a logic next.

So, how did the experiment go?

Total failure. Lasted about 2 hours then back on the vape.

All we can do is keep on trying until we succeed. I’m not sure what it’s going to take to make me quit. Cancer? Bankruptcy? Laws forbidding us from smoking at all? I just don’t know.

Brutal!

I tried to quit smoking,

But I still sneak one at least every other day.

Which is progress, I was up to a pack a day a year ago.

I just like smoking,

Its a problem.

The only time I smoked cigarettes was when I was 13. The older dude who used to give me cigarettes graduated from high school and I had nobody to get it from, so I quit cold turkey.

I literally still remember the feeling of not having smoked in a month or so and seeing a man with a baby stroller light up in front of the grocery store while I was in the car waiting for my mother.

The pain was physical. I almost ran out to him, but I couldn’t decide if I should politely ask for the cigarette or just rip it from his mouth and run away…those were serious thoughts, then my mom came out and we drove away. That agony, though, ugh never felt that way until I had to give up barbital (spelling? it’s alight barbiturate) at age 17, that was also very painful.

Best of luck to you!!
