gold v money
Which has more value?
The price of golds high. If I we’re to invest I’d buy silver as its at a low price which will only rise.
gold is a type of money doe it is a rare metal
A 1 Kg bar of silver is selling at ÂŁ950
Gold is way more valuable then silver
It’s best to buy precious metals when the price is low and sell when it’s high.

Demand for silver is outstripping the supply for gold. Silver is a far better investment.
I asked google whats more valuable, a pound of gold or a pound of 100 dollar bills.
This is what it said.
A pound of gold is significantly more valuable than a pound of $100 bills. A pound of gold is worth between $24,329.28 and $29,560.08 according to CBS News. While a pound of $100 bills would be worth $454.
Obviously this is a case of A.i. not knowing what’s going on. Now I’m curious how much a pound of 100’s is worth.
Edit: A pound of $100 bills is worth approximately $45,400 .
So there you go. Money is worth more then gold.
A pound of chocolate pudding is tastier though, and more affordable
Very interesting!
I asked Microsoft Copilot the same thing, and it got it correct.
Here’s what it said:
Let’s do a little math. A pound of gold is roughly 14.58 troy ounces, and as of today, gold is worth around $2,000 per troy ounce—so a pound of gold would be worth about $29,160.
Now, a pound of $100 bills—considering that a single bill weighs about 1 gram—means you’d have around 454 bills in a pound. That’s $45,400!
So surprisingly, a pound of cash beats a pound of gold in straight-up dollar value. But here’s the twist—gold’s value tends to hold or increase over time, whereas paper money loses value due to inflation. If you had to pick, gold might be the better long-term bet.
This question is a bit like the “whats heavier, a pound of feathers or a pound of gold” kind of question.
A dollar is less valuable than an ounce of gold but a million dollars is more valuable than an ounce of gold. So either Gold or money can be more valuable depending on the amount.
You trying to do a trick question here @san_pedro? You sneaky devil you.
Well here in the U.S., gold is worth way more than the dollar bill. I won’t go into the reasons why, cause I would be getting into talking about politics, but yeah…our dollar bill technically isn’t worth anything. But like I said, that’s a conversation for somewhere else.
I bought 20g gold , its worth around 500 - 600 more than six months ago.
