Gluten free bread

With my allergic reactions to gluten I have to buy really expensive bread.

An artisan loaf costs £3.80 or a half loaf at £2.00.

Has anyone made their own bread as an alternative? Has anyone used an air fryer to make a loaf like the ninja foodi? how about a bread making machine? I reckon that that would be cheaper than a foodi?

How does the bread turn out if you bake it in the oven?

Just wondering if anyone had any insight?

Thinking of this.

If it were easy I would.

I got a ton of potato flakes though, it’s a big part of my day.

I think I’ll buy some loaf tins and try to make some in the conventional fan assisted oven. Cheapest method, plus I’ll use youtube recipes to see if I can do it properly.

My brother had a breadmaker machine and I tried it before I started getting these allergic reactions to gluten. It wasn’t a great success, so these machines are probably a waste of money.

Regular bread I baked yesterday.

Done in a normal oven. Can’t imagine gluten free bakes that much differently.

Gluten free flour is pretty easy to find. My supermarket has multiple brands.

Mixing it is a hell of a thing though. I think I’ll get a breadmaker at some point.

I’ve been eating Ezekiel bread, I’m pretty sure it’s gluten free.
It’s flourless.

Ezekiel bread is sprouted wheat. Definitely has gluten.

Try gluten free, your life will be better in 3 days, guarantee.

Did you use a food processor to knead that dough? @anon82948922 or get your hands right in?

I just do it by hand. Goes quickly with practice.
