Hi everyone, I just found word on the internet that glutathione was effective for schizophrenia, I am considering trying it, has anyone else tried this and if so how did it work?
I am trying this for about a week now.
Hard to tell a difference since I take about 20 other supplements already.
They say glutathione is good at regulating excessive glutamate which can cause problems. However it’s argued that glutathione might not be able to cross blood brain barrier and therefore it might be more effective taking NAC which is a precursor for the body to make it’s own glutathione. I take both glutathione and NAC at present.
You can read everything helps schizophrenia on the internet. Is there a link to a placebo controlled study to suggest this? I think supplement suggestions should have specific links to relevant studies.
I see that there are studies underway, but nothing concrete in terms of results.
Hey I just picked up a bottle of this and tried it, I feel really good physically but not so good mentally, I probably won’t take it again. It is a shame it didn’t work, it was very expensive, cost me like $45 for the bottle.
You only gave it about 24 hours???
I could feel it take effect within like 45 minutes, I got a really good feeling physically (it is supposed to have a lot of health benefits) but I started feeling pretty sick mentally, I won’t take any more.
Wow. Okay, maybe consider leaving these decisions to your doctor.
I only took 1 dose of this about 2 days ago and made me feel sick mentally and now 2 days later the feeling is still there, I am concerned that what it did to me may be permanent, I would advise you to not take glutathione!
