I’m just about to give up on making new friends especially online friends I have no clue what’s wrong with me… Why can’t I make friends… I don’t get it

I would like to make friends too .
I joined a penpal site but they didn’t want to write with me when they found out I don’t work.
Most other sites seem to be for sex of marriage only.
I haven’t found any sites for friendship only.
I might probably be taking a break from my boyfriend and May nolonger spend weekends with him.
I always enjoyed his company but not ok with being ignored weekdays as I feel disrespected.
I used to have male friends who didn’t want to have sex with me.it was so nice.
I don’t have anyone to hang out with as such now in a way but I might have met someone I can go for walks with and someone in my indirect family might be able to walk with me too.
I’m uncomfortable around a lot of people but was comfortable with my boyfriend and hanging with him.
We have each other on the forum here but it’s different having friends you can hang out with and chat with and call etc
And who got your back.
