Sometimes I watch a news show like dateline or 20/20 and I become grateful that I’m alive, not incarcerated, not hospitalized, and not homeless. Sz does suck but given some of the alternatives, I count my blessings.

I love my life. It’s a bit boring but I like it. I don’t have to listen to anyone but myself and I have fun.
Sure. I loved being married for those short years but I’m 50 now and honestly I do pretty cool. I help the old man pay the bills and that is cool. He helped me out years ago and it’s nice to pay back…
I’m way less horny. It doesn’t matter to me if I get laid again and it’s nice being in that sort of metaphysical framework. Sure. I’d love some sex but I’m so over it these days and it’s not a priority. My priority is myself and my happiness and most times I’m happy.

That’s good @rogueone I’m glad happiness has found you. Sometimes when we simplify our lives, we have the greatest chances at being happy.
I know I’m not getting laid living at home with mom & dad, really that’s my only complaint. Whether I stay home or live independently, I’ll make it work. Next year I really want to not fly solo. See how it goes…
