Gi gurdjieff

Reading this book along with cosmos…

I’m not sure how good it is. Didn’t get good reviews on account it wasn’t really written by the author…but it caught my attention and seems interesting. Was expensive. Anyone read gurdjieff? His books he actually wrote got real good reviews I reckon these are translations of his philosophy’s. I’m enjoying it so far it’s a little heavy but in the area of my alley

is it existential? Instead of that, read the classics, Baudelaire, Voltaire, Hesse, and some modernist American. but anyway, if it interests you, yeah.

I always like Jonathon Livingston too and mystic and deeper, but need a story to make it stick.

My latest read… I don’t find Thich Nhat Hanh that intriguing but this was pretty good

My latest buy… it has some nice prayers in it for Christians and non-Christians

I own You are Here by thich nhat hanh but never read it.

I also bought this is it by Alan watts my favorite author but I’m gonna read that later on. I know for a fact I’ll be able to enjoy an Alan watts book so it’s kinda like dessert compared to the books I’m currently reading.

I own You Are Here as well… its one of his better books.

Did you know that Alan Watts was an Episcopalian priest once?

Yup

I actually read his autobiography…well the first 100+ pages at least

I hope one day to read all 30 or so of his books even if it takes ten years.

I’ve really struggled with…nature man and woman…I think I need to develop my reading skills before I’m able to finish that one…oh and joyous cosmology I doubt I’ll ever finish

I’ve read like 11 diff books by him but probably finished only 7

I might get his book on Taoism. He explains Eastern concepts to a Western audience very well.

I have his Myth and Ritual in Christianity but never read it…

Been reading this… i love it so far
