To be honest I look forward to my depot because am kinda jonesing for it on the last day of the cycle
Good luck man …
Had mine today - and it was four days overdue. My god did i feel i needed it, all the crap was creeping back.
Happy for you @anon94176359
I hear ya, @anon94176359. I have to get mine Monday and I have a weird feeling. Kinda restless. No symptoms though
I always know when im due mine, without checking the calendar. I get restless too. And really bloody moody - poor nurses at my CMHT, cos i end up swearing down the phone in frustration. My fight response kicks in rather than flight - when im feeling im being got at, thru percieved threats in my paranoid head. Thankfully they know me well enough by now, to just ignore it. It doesnt help that i have EUPD traits as well as Sz.
Do you still feel the irritability even like an hour you get it? I do… I think it was 3-4 months ago I called the secretary and I was freaking out, can’t remember what it was about, then I fell into a daze and fell asleep. What is EUPD?
Edit: I just googled it. And saw bpd
Give it a couple of hours after my injection - and seem to get my “insight” back - Usually tired but alot calmer. Had mine late tho, and the Seraqoul at night wasnt cutting it. Been particulary moody this week, and got to apologise to a few people!
Was meant to goto a clinic for respite for 2 weeks - was all packed - but the bed was needed - so it never happened, i wasnt “ill enough” to warrent the bed when they had a shortage. So that didnt improve my mood either. EUPD is the new name for BPD. That was my diagnosis since 17, until they decided i was Sz as well 5 years ago.
My jag kicks in in a couple of hours. I usually wake the day after feeling an improvement
Sometimes different nurses shot the injection with different ways. And all month i have different mood with this. Does this happened to you also?
I don’t get that. Pretty much feel the same after every shot
Sometimes they shot at arm sometimes buttocks. When they shot at arms i have more anxiety than buttock.
I always have mine in the arm now. Maybe placebo but it seems more effective. Plus if i get delayed pain - i can sit down!
