Mrs.Jayster is beside herself. I believe it is because she just stopped her Geodon and Cymbalta and began some new medicine.
Does either Geodon or Cymbalta have a cessation syndrome, and what is it like?

They need to be tapered down. You can’t stop antipsychotics without tapering, I got nasty withdrawals, brain zaps, headaches, twitches, positive symptoms etc
Yes you have to taper like @anon67051439 said, especially the Cymbalta or you’ll get terrible brain zaps and worse. With Geodon I stopped abruptly but I was on a low dose.
Cymbalta isn’t an ap it’s an ad. But just like an ap it needs to be tapered down.
I had to stop it right away due to allergy, but I wasn’t on it long enough to have withdrawals.
She doesn’t listen to doctors.
When she gets in there, she is so nervous, she talks nonstop. Finally the doctor stands and says, “It seems like you’re doing all right. Come back in six months.” Then the doctor walks out.
When they took me off Geodon and Seroquel and put me on Latuda it seemed like I was angry all the time. I’m thinking it was probably because I was coming off Geodon and Seroquel. Sometimes when I’m coming off Geodon and Seroquel I get really, really angry.
Ap can cause agitation, Google it up if you want
