I used to play board games all the time growing up & sometimes play chess at the library as an adult

I feel it’s like a lot of little sessions of poker. Kinda random, you get dealt different hands. You can screw it up with aces or win a big pot with a shitty hand.

I won a poker tournament once, the last hand I had 7 & 5 like in the James Bond movie, I won a trophy & an entry to play in a casino tournament

I used to be a lot into online cash games. But the time investment and the learning curve wasn’t sustainable for me to treat it like a hobby. Never played tourneys seriously tho.

I used to play 0.10€/0.20€ stakes and be even. Using holdem manager and other programs I don’t remember the name.
