Hi.
Does anyone here feel that their symptoms worsen around a full moon?
Yup, in fact I often jokingly refer to myself as a Lunatic or Moonstruck. I usually have trouble sleeping during the full moon which can lead to becoming symptomatic. Always had trouble sleeping during the Full Moon. My GP is of the mind that it’s just part of my monthly man cycle, so I don’t think about it.
I got a moon calendar app which reminds my the day before the Full Moon. I plan an active Full Moon Day and am usually too tired to do anything stupid by Nightfall.
yeah the howling is awful
I’ve not noticed it myself.
In classic literature the moon is related to a woman’s cycles, every 28 days.
But science tries to deny this.
When I had my episode I was running around outside and it was a full moon. I thought the moon was chasing me and that it signalled that there was going to be this violent ancient ritual people committed at the local middle school.
Maybe just coincidence?
I personally haven’t noticed. Maybe I should start recording how the days/nights with full moons go and see if there are any differences.
When I worked in a group home, we used to always know when he full moon was, because all the kids would be a little more goofy and cranky than usual. It wasn’t an extreme difference, but it was definitely noticeable.
Maybe we can’t sleep in full moon times cos back in the caveman days the light of the full moon would be good to hunt in.
I was just thinking that about the bigmoon tonight
