I eat two serving of fruits everyday and most of the day two servings of vegetable if my mother cooked or buy them.I am strict regarding two servings of fruit.I have built this habit since last year
I buy apples and bananas all year round. I’m a bad example of buying seasonal fruits.
Heck, I buy watermelon off season.
I’m not crazy about apples.
But I love apple pie and pastries!
Does pumpkin pie count as vegetables? if so I love them lol
You just reminded me I forgot to buy pumpkin pie.
I think that technically, it counts as a fruit, but the thread was about fruits and vegetables so you are still in the game!
I had pumpkin pie last night and this morning!
Good stuff! @POET
Thanks @bowen maybe I’ll pack one instead of an apple for work next time jk jk
Mmmmm it’s my favourite too bad the store bought ones have gluten. …
P.s. thanks for cheering me up guys today’s been kinda crummy (no pie pun intended)
I’ve never been a big fan of pumpkin pie or cake or carrot cake(which tastes suspiciously like pumpkin cake).
When I was a kid we used to bake the pumpkin seeds and add a little salt and eat them though.
I try to eat a half of a big plate of vegetables every day. And at least some fruit. Like grapes, bananas or raisins. I’m not a big fan of fruit but I love almost all cooked veggies.
I like to snack on raisins.
Nobody tell my pdoc but one time i tried grass it’s not half bad. Is that a vegetable?
Butternut squash, parsnips, potatoes
Or maybe that’s winter vegetables
Yeah I’m trying to do this also @SkinnyMe
I’m pushing myself to eat at least one plate or bowl of veggies everyday.
I did, too. Wanted to see why our cows loved it. Ours was bitter.
Sorry to say but raisins are just sugar.
Aren’t they originally grapes?
