Do you dig fruits?

I’m going to our farmers market in a few minutes and buy some apples and pears from a local farm. I walk there, it’s not far. My mom talked me into it on one of our phone calls. Fruit is so divine!

I don’t especially like sea fruit, which is actually meat, but fruit yes. Berries are my favorite, but also (water)melon, bananas, plums, grapefruit…

I just finished my weekly cantaloupe treat. My reward for going grocery shopping is a container of precut cantaloupe chunks. Its my little luxury every Saturday. :sparkles:

Im also happy it’s time for McIntosh apples again, and course weekends are always good because I have bananas in the house again.

One of the wonderful things about my false teeth is that I’m not afraid to crunch on apples again. Apple slices and a cuppa are a pleasant treat.

fruit is the best food there is…. it’s sweet and fresh at the same time - pretty much a miracle food
i can eat too much of it if im not careful

I eat a banana each day with my breakfast. I like nectarines, blue berries, goose berries, red top apples, kiwi fruit, peach, apricot, orange, naartjie, guava and strawberries. I don’t like grapes that much. Sometimes I make a fruit salad and eat it for lunch or breakfast.

Probs don’t eat as many fruits as I should, but they are delish when I do have them.

Faves include:

  • Fuji Apples

  • Mangoes

  • Passion Fruit

  • Strawberries

  • Watermelon

  • Honeydew melon

I adore fruit but usually buy frozen berries and fruit because it so much cheaper.

My boyfriend bought me fresh berries yesterday which was luxurious.

Farmers market are lovely to buy from.

Fresh fruit n veg is awesome.

I have to watch my sugar because of diabetes, but my pdoc said if you are going to do sugar, then selecting an apple, orange, or banana is better than juice or soda pop.

Lol, soda pop has an incredible amount of sugar. And orange juice. I once lost 10 pounds in 30 days by giving up my daily 20oz cola.
