My sister likes to keep the house so cold, especially when she’s sleeping. She gets hot flashes and she just can’t take it so I have to wear tons of layers and use my microwavable heating pad to try to stay warm enough. But I’m still freezing all the time, it’s making me miserable, I hate to be cold.

Can you get a portable heater for just your room? My old roommate and I ran into a similar problem because I am from the north and she was from the south. She kept a space heater and her room was like 72 while the rest of the house was closer to 60

My mother and fiancée run it cold, I’m never far from my blanket and a heat pad, coffee or tea.
Space heaters are a good idea too

I kept my house at 72, she keeps hers at 62. It’s quite an adjustment. Thank god for heating pads. And a little heater is a good idea in my room bug not out here in the living room where I use my laptop most of the time.
