So get this - even though I don’t qualify for Medicaid, they give $750/year towards fruits and vegetables and other approved healthy foods, and almost $120/month towards utilities and OTC drugs! Plus it has great coverage on other things as well.
The catch will be finding a primary care dr in the hospital system I get free care at, because all my specialists are there and I need a dr in the system to refer me as needed for tests and specialists etc. The one I currently have is not in network. So I’m looking for a primary dr in that health system that’s not too far from my home.
