I was just watching heart shaped box by nirvana, doesn’t 70’s/80’s/90’s pop music to present, the way it was controlled and manufactured represent a ‘bad touch’ to the youth of today.
I feel like pop culture and those who control it need to do some reckoning. You know it’s secretly all controlled by a small handful.
what’s with music getting worse from the 60’s till today, I call shenanigans.
Music is a matter of personal taste. Every generation thinks there music is the best. 70 years ago, parents were complaining about Frank Sinatra and the effect he had on bobby soxers. Parents in the 50’s thought Elvis the Pelvis was the devil incarnate.
To this generation, the Beatles music sound tame and old-fashioned, but in their time, they were cutting edge and they changed the world of music. In ten or twenty years, Rap music is going to be outdated when some, new hotshot musician comes along and starts a new trend. Modern music evolves from every thing before it and borrows from all that has come before it.
