For those who take more than one pill a day

Do you still take something else when sick? I feel like I need strong tylenol now but i’m on two horsepills and half a pill, so I just want to know if it could screw up my liver.

I try to avoid taking Tylenol as much as possible but if I’m really in a lot of pain or running a fever I will take it.

I take Geodon, Seroquel, Luvox, Hydroxyzine, Cogentin, BuSpar, and Depakote twice a day. Haven’t had any issues taking Tylenol with any of it. That’s more of a question for your doctor than this board.

Thanks @Wave @Mars This headache is just killing me now and i’ll have to ask my doc this since it didn’t cross my mind at the moment.

I take 7 pills just in the morning. I found long ago that i cant count my medications or I’ll just feel even more crazy. So when i need something else, tylenol or motrin or cough medicine, i take it.

Taking Tylenol with other meds is generally safe.
If you have concerns about drug to drug interactions with a specific med then it’s best to talk with your doctor or pharmacist about it

@Pickpink Thanks for your input and yeah I didn’t like the idea of being in multiple pills a day.

In the last 15 months my pill count has gone up from 14 a week to 71 a week. That’s prescription meds. I get some pain in the side that had the hip op done, if I don’t sleep enough. It’s seldom enough pain to warrant taking a pain killer though.

2 bipertine. 2.5 pills of 300 mg seroquel and one LAI every other week.

You can also call your local pharmacist. They are very knowledgeable about potential drug interactions. Poison control is also an option.

What kind of headache is it? If it’s a tension headache there’s some stretches you could do that will make a world of a difference.

As long as you space tylenol out as directed on the box(its different for different doses mine is 6 hours between doses) its safe for your liver. Nad is a supplement thats supposed to be good for your liver in general just fyi
