Arthritis medication

My doctor has prescribed Meloxicam for my osteoarthritis, but I’m supposed to take it every other day. On days I don’t take it, I’m supposed to use Tylenol. Today I’m making it without the Tylenol, and am not hurting much. The only problem with Tylenol is that I’m an alcoholic and can’t slip taking Tylenol. It will damage your liver if I do. Not to worry. I go to Alcoholics Anonymous.

I’ve been sober 47 days and before that I was sober for six months. It’s kinda hell though not being able to take Tylenol or not being able to drink.

Thanks Mountainman. My doctor just put me on Meloxicam. I used to take Ibuprofen.

Yeah I can’t take Tylenol anymore because I have a fatty liver.
Tylenol is hard on your liver.

Try to do without the Tylenol if you can @anon54988740

But if you need to take some Tylenol that’s ok too, you are following doctors orders.

Good luck with everything!

I had arthritis in my knuckles and other hand joints. Thank goodness they finally went away once I had my amalgam tooth fillings removed. It was that darn mercury in the fillings that did the bad.
