Does this happen to you sometimes? Do you recommend taking breaks from it? Not sure what to do.

Yeah, I take breaks. Sometimes I just get really overwhelmed by everything, including reading the forum.

Just take a day off from the site. If tomorrow it still stresses you out take a few more days off.

I don’t even bother with those.
I’m stressed out by delusions and people going off meds. Spent hours yesterday talking about delusions and after HOURS the person didn’t think they had a delusion.

Well, that’s the nature of delusions. You can’t really expect to talk someone out of delusions unless the person is already questioning their delusions themselves.

I was probably delusional for trying
It sucks that people are so hard to talk sense to. Especially for people like you who actually seem to care.
I have a lot of friends with various issues, and the way I think helps most is starting from “we disagree on whether this is real, but even if it is…” And then logicing them out of being afraid or doing anything stupid even if they still believe it

I sometimes get stressed out, too. I recently took a day or two where I didn’t come around much to kind of reset myself internally, so to speak. If you get stressed, take a little break. This place is always here when you want to come back.

I can always suspend or silence your account for you if you want a break. Plenty of people ask for that from time to time. I think this site can be a good resource, but it can definitely get overwhelming.
