Have no idea what you’re talking about,

But,

I found this, is it close?

Yeah, when I was living alone in my studio three years ago, I was cooking some meat inside the oven and it caught fire. I stayed calm and got the baking soda (NOT water) and through it liberally on the flames until it was out. Throwing water on a grease fire is like throwing gasoline on it it. Water just makes it worse.

This is a recipe for the dinner I’m making tomorrow night. It makes for good leftovers, so I will be eating it for lunch probably all week. It’s also very simple and easy to make, delicious with ketchup.

I just copied and pasted from a Word file; I have a recipe folder on my computer’s desktop. I took a recipe I found online and modified it, adding an extra half pound of beef and changing the bacon from bacon bits to the real thing. There may have been onions in the original recipe, I don’t remember; I hate onions, so I would’ve taken that out right away.

Bacon Cheeseburger Tater Tot Casserole

32 oz frozen tater tots
1 can condensed cheddar soup
16 oz sour cream
1.5 lbs ground beef
1 lb bacon, cut crosswise and cooked
16 oz shredded cheddar, divided
Salt

Cook, crumble ground beef, drain. Combine all ingredients except for 8 oz of cheddar and put in greased casserole dish. Top with 8 oz of cheddar. Bake at 350 F for 45-50 min.

I have to do it differently this time. The store I was at was out of cheddar soup, so I bought the fiesta nacho cheese soup instead. Who knows, it may be even better this way. :grinning:

I hate cooking, but judging from all the dishes I do, I must be doing some, I buy what ever is on sale at the discount store, and that is what I have to make meals of, My neighbor can’t see how I can eat on 30 dollars a week on average

I make a really good lentil soup that is like $2 for a big pot.

1/2 cup lentils
1/4 cup split peas
Chopped carrot
Chopped sweet potato
Any other vegetable that sounds good
Sausage or other meat if you want it

Lots of minced garlic, chili powder, salt, pepper, bit of cumin if you’re in the mood.

Fill with enough water to drown it, boil the water off while stirring every once in a while, top with sour cream and enjoy.
