Fishing tips?

Im on vacation in Croatia and I’m trying to get some fish out of the water but I didn’t had any luck so far. I want to rent a boat for a day and go out in the deep. Any tips how to catch a good sized fish? I’m trying spinfishing with a 30g tackle and have a rod out with a hook and some bait.

Don’t they have boat trips for tourists that want to fish? You should look it up.

It’s off season so that doesn’t work. It’s too expensive anyways

I’ve never been saltwater fishing infact I’ve only went too Manitoba once and there’s no saltwater in Ontario we do have Great Lakes that are basically freshwater oceans HOWEVER one of the best places to get information is a tackle shop trust me it’s a good idea if there’s more just buy a lure and start talking to the person who runs it and ask they will know the area

Also the number 1 best idea is use a charter they will take you and fish with you

I hope I’m helping

Here’s one of many google is your friend in this I know of a few places in America where there’s world class fishing

Also I’m gonna tell you so you don’t get fined MAKE SURE TO KNOW EVERY LAW IN THE AREA

I caps locked it so you know it’s important

Idk if that’s anywhere near where you are but I know there’s gotta be a charter in your area

I think the best bait for saltwater fishing is prawns and mussels, all kinds of shellfish. Better than pieces of fish. And let the line go to the bottom or near cliffs / stones.

I caught all kinds of fish and even an octopus and a moureen eel at the canarias, but I have never been fishing in the Adriatic sea.

Take a picture if you catch something :slightly_smiling_face:
