Feeling sad for no reason

How many of you feel sad when there is no reason to be sad? Is that tell tale signs of depression? Like you got everything going for you you think you should have a content life but are still sad is that clinical depression?

Being sad occasionally is normal and fine, But being sad too often and too much can turn into a big problem such as clinical depression.

It sounds like dysthymia, a persistent mild depression. I think you need a therapy, maybe there is something beneath the surface…we all have those…

While feeling Sad for no reason could be a sign of depression, its not always the case.

I have been feeling more pessimistic, feeling run down and hopeless, feeling less motivated, lack of pleasure etc…

I feel some sadness at times, but not all of the time - I am experiencing a deeper depression currently.
