Fearless bird

Went right up to it it barely had any fear until I got WAY too close.

That’s a Robin fledgling. Robins are pretty bold, and that’s just a baby so he doesn’t know any better. Yesterday I had a Chickadee fledgling land on the clippers I was holding. So cute!

Yeah I thought it was a robin but his belly wasn’t so red so I wasn’t sure. That makes sense tho.

I just love Robins. They always sing before sunrise and after sunset, and they’re really confident birds.

I remember when I went to Olympia I saw a robin on my first hike, first animal I saw and I was like “I saw your cousin back on the other side of the country just yesterday!” They’re everywhere. I always think about that when I see robins now. I wonder how many billion robins there are on earth! I know there’s more chickens than humans so I wonder if there are more robins then humans too… I think they might be called North American robins though so maybe only in our continent. Who knows (Google probably does)

Ya I looked it up it’s the American robin. Migrates to Mexico and Canada depending on season. There is a European robin. There are probably billions of robins!!! It’s the state bird here in Connecticut

When I lived in Northern California, we had a red berry bush just outside the sliding glass door. The Robins would let the berries ferment and then eat them. I guess they were intoxicated because they would crash into the glass door afterwards!

This is a European Robin. Kind of funny that of of course the American version is bulky and twice the size.

“Nobody knows for sure how many robins there are in a world. These birds are not endangered and there is nobody counting their exact numbers. Estimates are that the number of robins is in the millions.”

Booooooo. I don’t believe it!!

Google does say there’s 19 billion chickens though in the world…
