My favorite is Dirk Nowitzki. He is a basketball player from Germany who plays for the Dallas Mavericks in the NBA. I have great memories watching him win an NBA title around 5 years ago. He is 7 feet tall and is very skilled. He is the best in my opinion.
there are a ■■■■ton of international athletes in major league soccer nowadays …i like the game being international but I’m a total homer, i think the local boys should playing to establish a culture here…there’s like 40% international now in mls, where i think it should be more like 20% of internationals taking development spots…
.anyways my favorite Euro was probably “the dunking Dutchmen” Rick Smitts, a big goofy 7 footer who started for the Indiana Pacers when i was a boy and rooted for the Indiana Pacers. Toni Kukoc was really smooth as well
haha yeah I forgot about Rick Smitts. Him and Reggie Miller were fun to watch.
My favorite Euro player was Zydrunas Ilgauskas. He played for the Cleveland Cavs almost his entire career, and has his number retired by the organization.
Z yeah he was the man
Oh yeah forgot you were probably a Cavs fan @anon49063606. I think they will turn it around this season.
Hopefully, their defense is awful so i’m not sure
probably mo farah, hes a nice humble guy
He was impressive in the Olympics. I just looked it up that he’s a Sir. So I guess he was knighted. That’s awesome.
yeah, a very consistent performer at that, i think hes making the transition from the track over to the marathon now, hopefully he can compete with the best marathoners
I always thought I’d compete in triathlons the older I got. It seems impossible on meds. I hope he can make the transition seems tough.
