My favorite books were by an author named Robert Silverberg. He wrote the simplist prose ever written. For a long time he was the only author I could read.

Re-reading Old Man’s War by John Scalzi right now. Top shelf SF.

Ray Bradbury did so many short stories that you can pick up one of his collections and it’s quality and an easy read. It’s Sci fi which I think Silverberg is not that I’ve read them.
