Family member is getting laser eye surgery today

In the hospital. It follows complication from cataract surgery. The doctors assure us it is a very straightforward procedure and me relative can expect 20/20 vision after.

To be honest we are all more worried about stepping foot in a hospital in these times of covid. My relative wont be admitted - in and out in 90 minutes

I had it done. Twice. Best thing I ever did.

I wish it was covered by insurance…I’d like to get it done for my nearsightedness but it’s expensive. And I’m a cheapskate.lol

My mum had it, it went without a problem and healed quickly

I have permanent night glare from lights since getting it. It improved most aspects of my vision though.

Surgery went well. She is already seeing better. The doctor warned vitrious floaters might be an issue for a little while but that this is perfectly normal. She goes back for a checkup in 3 months

I’ve seen where the guy who invented the tool for Lasik lives. It’s a mansion and he has gold on his electric fence. He definitely deserves it. A lot of lives have improved because of his tool.
