Fallout 4...again...for the 3rd attempt

So I’ve had the game since it came out…I’ve tried to get into it 3 times now…and can’t…I love the series…I remember playing fallout 2 on the comp…and played every one so far…why can’t I get into this one…anyone else play the fallout series? Maybe wanna share a good wasteland story…

I loved Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Fallout 4 wasn’t as good but I liked it. I don’t think it’s as good as earlier fallouts, maybe that’s why you’re finding it harder to get in to.

I have the season pass but haven’t tried any of the DLC so I am similar to you

Fallout 4 is my life

I got the vaultec addon… then my interest pretty much halted. I couldn’t figured out a good layout for my vaults innards. Thus the momentum broke. I did get on to test my new ram speeds and overclock settings… it was smooth as a whistle and I got level up… but that was it.

They could give the NPC/Settlers a bit more personality… but seriously Bethesda games are limited by the fact they are multiplatform. Console’s demand good graphics and now have a more unified architexture… they can’t really have the Ram reserved for extensive CPU use so the engine doesn’t allow for 30+ NPCs to have real dynamic personalities beyond what they demonstrate.

I wish though… it’s cool… the smoke and sit down and use the work benches and stuff… have jobs… but their dialogue is still just a few statements each.

I agree…Bethesda’s next round of elder scrolls and fallout titles need an upgrade…in a couple areas…loading screens is one I hate…its not a terrible wait but almost every indoors section requires a loading screen…and then requires another when leaving…it takes away from the fluency of it all…I’d rather have a slightly longer initial loading screen with fewer in between loads…like the witcher 3…

I’m waiting for this to go on sale during black friday/ cyber monday to get it and the expansions for cheap hopefully. Hoping GoTY edition is out by that time!

I purchased a new laptop earlier in the year just to play fallout 4! I was planning on getting it during steam’s summer sale, but they didn’t put the season pack on sale at all, so I did not bother.

i never played fallout 4, but I heard that fallout games are quite intense with moral and life-death situations. not my cup of tea, because of my sensitive paranoia. I rarely play video games today because of my illness, unless I’m playing Dark Souls 3 with my brother.

but I did used to play games, like COD, and just got less impressed as newer and newer sequels were released.

maybe you’ve outgrown the game series? or maybe fallout 4 isn’t as fun as the previous fallouts?
