Fake Sz users

This bloke here

Has been p*ssing me off for years. Its always about the negatives with him. Never ever does he talk about recovery - and ive watched all his videos and he seems to relish the negtave content to garner youtube fame. Ive confronted him - and he just deletes my comments.

This is one person i would ignore if you want advice. He gets under my skin for using Sz as a tool to get fame. He has every symptom known to man and frankly wish he would bugger off and leave us proper Schizophrenics some peace without trying to make ad-revenue out of it. / Rant over.

Sounds like a complete ■■■■■■■. I hate people like that, greedy, money hungry, borderline sociopaths who only care about themselves. And the fact that he’s been deleting your comments proves that he’s just a douche

Hey everyones got to make a living right? Can you really blame him for being tempted by what fame he has found? Maybe you guys don’t get along, thats alright. The man is probably not faking his mental illness though, hearing voices is not really something one can fake

@Naarai Could it just be his personality clashes with yours rather than he is a fake? Also if you aggressively confront him is it any wonder he deletes your comments?

haven’t seen or heard of the person. I wondered about these kinda people too, and not just schizo’s but like people who fake things in general for promote themselves or their next video. Ive been told I should do some streaming for my gaming, I don’t really feel comfortable doing those kinda things. I prolly can make some money, but I don’t wanna abuse the situation also. I will do it if I know my audience and I can be legit as possible. I have a bit trouble with doing things with public sometimes now, so we’ll see.

i try to be positive, i think a positive outlook really does help recovery, if this guy is negative all the time then he may never improve, its sorry to say

He’s not a fake. I watched most of his videos. And he doesn’t get a lot of views so how can he be making money

It’s virtually impossible to make a living off youtube adsense from what I hear. It’s more of a pipeline to promoting stuff or e-begging via paypal or patreon.

Right, and now it’s harder than ever since they made some changes to the monetization system some months ago.

Fair comment - I will just choose to ignore him in future. I dont doubt he is ill - but hes deffo milking his illness. Watching them he has every symptom known to man - but ill let him get on with it.

Watched his videos in the past, liked them some are boring though, wouldn’t just call the guy out make false accusations etc.
I mean I think his personality may be a little tainted but the thing is dealing with such things like sz doesn’t put a smile on my face so.

As for fame, he just started out by sharing his sz and his experiences etc, people relate/ he put in the work to make videos etc.
He gets like 6k-10k views not fame bro.
Think your tripping on this one altogether.

I do have some things to say about people who make videos about sz who claim to have it. First, I know people have more than likely said this a bit more eloquently than I can, but, well, I doubt this guy is faking. Schizophrenia is VERY hard to fake. I’ve met people in hospital who’ve tried to fake schizophrenia. They failed MISERABLY.

And secondly I’ve got schizophrenia myself, and make YouTube videos (Or at least I used to, I’ve lost a lot of my zest for it) and to be honest, YouTube doesn’t monetize talking about mental health when it’s the sufferers talking about it. The thing is, a lot of times, talking about mental health problems is quite graphic, and we all know what a “family friendly” site YouTube is, right? And I know that when talking about schizophrenia, I certainly don’t have a smile on my face. Usually experiences with schizophrenia are VERY negative, and when telling it like it is, it tends to make others go “Oh, this person is a fake, they’re such an edge lord,” ya know? Thing is, no mental illness is glamorous, especially not Schizophrenia. When people go into psychosis they do things and say things no one can understand the reasoning behind. Me personally, I block my episodes out half the time, and the unfortunate thing is, I’ve had some HORRID consequences because I do things while psychotic.

Just something to think about, okay? I do not intend to come off as offensive or harsh to you, so if I do come off that way I do apologize.

Yeah, I think people talking about their mental illness are just looking for feedback and support at best, and maybe attention at worst. I’d be reluctant to post to Youtube myself because many reasons.

One: my voice is very slurred and dumb-sounding.

Two: not enough payoff. There’s no money in youtube, I don’t want to e-beg, and I don’t want attention. Being punched around as a toddler taught me at a early age that attention can be a BAD thing.

I’ve been considering starting a channel every now and again, and maybe typing into one of those electronic voices so I won’t have to put my own voice out there. Not to share information and experience relating to mental illness, but to share my hobbies like writing and video games with people. It’s hard to get out of a funk long enough to learn to make and edit those videos.
