Experiences with Invega, Seroquel, and Lamictal

I’m still struggling with the delusion of going to hell every day that the voices are telling me. I’m thinking of bringing up to my doctor about getting on the 3 meds together. Is it effective to combine Invega with Seroquel or Geodon even? I’ve been on lithium for a few years and not sure it’s working. I have mixed episodes. My mindset changes every few weeks. The delusion of hell is my most concerning experience. It’s made my life a living hell. I was thinking of switching lithium to lamictal since I’ve been feeling depressed here and there. My psychosis is very depressing. What do you guys think? What are your experiences?

I doubt they’ll want to throw two antipsychotics and a mood stabilizer at you at once. Try one first and see how that does imo, med cocktails usually aren’t super beneficial and cause significant side effects

you shouldn’t be abiding in an experience of hell it’s not okay my advice is that you should see a p doc as soon as possible and when you do ask for what they believe will be the most effective antipsychotic that they have

Please Avoid to mix Geodon with other antipsychotics. Geodon doesn’t go well with another antipsychotic thats my personal experience after having used Geodon for 20 years until last year…

I can’t speak of Geodon, but I am on Seroquel and have taken Lamictal. Lamictal was great. I was on it for years. I swear it probably helped me maintain my marriage, not to mention my personality. Seroquel is doing well for me, but we’ve decreased me because we are trying to wear me off of it and increase my Abilify instead. Like @Moon mentioned, they are unlikely to want you to start three meds simultaneously. It doesn’t allow for them to determine which medication is causing an issue if there is one. I’d talk to your pdoc and get their input as to which, if any, would be best to start with given your symptoms.

Please leave medical advice up to professionals. You can speak about your experience. What didn’t work for you, might work for someone else.
