Excited about baseball spring training

i’m not sure when it starts, but i get MLB network so i can watch baseball. i have a bunch of favorite teams . hopefully some good team choices are made this year.

i love baseball. I played in a mens league until i got too sick past two years. thinking of playing again this year. I was stolen base leader for the league for 4 years in a row and won the batting title for the league the year before i stopped playing, I was playing catch with my 2 1/2 yr old today and teaching him to throw properly and hit from a tee, which he has done since last year before he turned 2!! Hes a lefty too!! heres hoping he one day makes it to the bigs if he likes playing and continues, hes got good mechanics already.

that is awesome! i remember playing baseball with my dad, my brother and my brother’s friends. i was the only girl that played. i was a much better at catching the ball than i was at pitching. i’m a lefty too!

unfortunately i am not. but in baseball, the left hand is proper hand for pitching and hitting, just not prefered for defense except playing first base, but you have to be big to play first, not sure if my son has the genetics to play first in really competitive ball. Heres hoping i can teach him to pitch and he can one become a LOOGY who makes a million a year an only pitches to 1 batter every couple days.

wow i didn’t know that. there’s a lot of stuff i don’t know. but i still love baseball. there’s a spring training game on friday its two of my teams playing against eachother. philies against yankees. like i said i never put my full support behind one team since i like different players and each team is so interesting.

thats great im from philly and a hardcore phillies fan. At the world series parade in 2008 i got to toss a few beers to a few players on a float and they opened them right up and chugged them and tossed me and my friends back the empty cans. was an awesome experience, hopefully i get to see another one someday, although that doesnt look to be anytime soon with this current roster, but i still love them. They are my one and only team.
