English and Indian ways of referring to relatives

So my cousin had a baby. I become the babies aunt. But in English terms this is my second cousin and im not their aunt. Super confusing to think of them as a second cousin for me. I just think they’re my nephews and nieces.

My way of referring to my wife’s cousins: “Ugh. Vermin.”

I like cultures where everyone is your Aunt even if you’re not related to them

My first cousin has 2 children.
I’m their uncle, here in Greece.
We are uncles by our siblings’ or cousins’ kids
