I’m thinking of getting a pendant instead of an engagement ring. Is that weird ? I don’t like rings. But I thought I could go for a tiny ring to put on a chain

I know loads of people who do the same thing. Some people work in jobs where they can’t wear rings for safety reasons. Some people have wide fluctuations in weight that means a ring will not fit half the time. Some people frequently lose things. Some people just don’t like the feeling.
Mr. Star and I don’t wear rings except for special occasions.

One thing I have seen people do a lot is get ring tattoos. The downside is that since you wash your hands so much, tattoos wear away much more quickly on fingers. You would need it to be touched up occasionally.

I prefer the ring on chain idea. I have fingers that swell a lot so it makes sense for me to just get the tiniest ring , put a pendant bail on it and attach it to a chain.

Yeah, I hear you. I would have done ring on a chain except that I hate having things touch my neck.

Do whatever you want, and don’t let others dictate what you do. If you want a pendant, there’s nothing wrong with that, and it’s nobody else’s business

I wore a ring - but i don’t Ike it scratching my iPhone - so its on a chain around my neck.
