Would you say it’s more likely my perception is wrong when I’m awake or dreaming/in a sleep state. Or maybe they’re equally deluded in different ways. Because when I dream or when I’m waking but still half asleep I have very many anxious thoughts. Everything seems wrong. Even the brightest things in life seem like trouble. Maybe there is trouble there. But when I’m awake I block it out for good reason. It must be a survival mechanism of some sort. If I were in that mindstate constantly I wouldn’t survive. But then The same things seem good and jolly once I get up out of bed. And I forget it was ever worrisome. And repeat the cycle. EAch day. Each night.
