Emotional dysregulation does not mean bipolar

It can happen with autism. Maybe that’s what he was trying to hint towards before a couple of years ago when I saw this pdoc last.

I thought you liked administration.

What bores you more specifically?

I do. But I’m so bored because it’s repetitive. I need repetition at the same time. I can’t win.

Emotional dysregulation is what bipolar in children is called here.

Maybe you need a bit of social interaction in a job. Not too much but that would spice things up.

Have you tried a job as a receptionist before?

Yes it was a nightmare I can’t handle a lot of social interaction it causes stress and a lot of fatigue and crying like a baby over stupid things.

I’m just brainstorming. It’s hard to find a job with the right fit.

I remember you saying you were interested in accountancy. Is that still the case?

Accountancy was me trying to get out of another job. I passed one module but gave up.

I know. Thank you. I guess I need the repitition to stick with the job but after a while I need to learn new things.

Can you ask for a mentor at work?

Are there certain professional development courses you could follow?

I applied for another job in the same hospital trust. It’s a little lower pay, fewer hours and but perm.

Okay. I hope the change of scenery helps with the bore out.

Good luck and congratulations on being able to do a job for a while!

Emotional dysregulation can happen in a wide variety of issues. For me its probably autism mixed with cptsd . It depends what triggers it and how you react.
