I often use the mobile site here, and when I do, I don’t have access to the emoji menu. I don’t know how many people have the same issue, but I found a site that lets you click the emoji you want and gives you the text for it.

I TRIED THAT ONE TOO. They must have felt we would not use that one responsibly. The fact that we both immediately went for it might be an indicator.
