You don’t have to be in water to be afraid of drowning or going under.

Thinking of my name Sagar means Sea gave me the thought " My enemies will drown me in water/sea hence my name " on several occasions of my limited life.

And your username is firemonkey and a monkey bit me when I was a kid.

My sister told my parents to name me bubbles Michael when I was a kid. To belittle me before I was even born. So she’d always call me bubbles Michael. Then the psychiatric ward changed the name of the house I stayed in to “Michaels house” and it contributed to the delusion that I was an experiment conducted by the psychiatric ward. I told my parents this and they were very empathetic.

But you can learn to swim (Even metaphorically) You are never to old to learn.

Suffocating? in the air.

Is everything ok?

When I first got on a computer it gave me vertigo. I used to be pretty good about dealing with heights, but now I get dizzy if I just see them in movies.

I’m funny about heights. I live on the 11th floor and am ok and am ok if I look straight out the window, but if I look down then eek!!

Scenes with heights in movies, such as tall buildings, have me expecting the actors to fall off and die even though I know it’s a fictional movie.

Just the usual, current ongoing worry. The not knowing how things will be fixed and the fear of not being safe.

Odd thing is, if you would learn to just lay back, relax and float along with the current, you will probably survive.
It’s the fear and panic that does you in.

I wish I could fall asleep and wake up on the other side safe and sound.

My best moments have all been at the bottom of the pool, still and comfy, able to breathe the water in as easy as air.

When I was being taken to the hospital by the police, I thought they were taking me somewhere to drown me. So I’ve never gone swimming since as it stayed with me.

Can’t down if you completely avoid the water.

I’m kind of in the same boat. My little sister’s best friend is a psychopath and she is getting to be like her. It is scary.

I feel like I’m drowning/can’t breath sometimes. It feels so desperate, but it has always passed and I can breath again.
