Today is one of those days where I just can’t remember if I took my morning meds or not. I’m usually pretty good about it but today I have no idea.
I just took a set of them now, I hope I’m not doubling up as I take about 12 pills each morning. I don’t think it’ll cause any harm but might make me pretty tired.
It seems that some, @77nick77, think this thread is about them. It is about ME taking MY meds… I’m not telling anyone what to do, just relating MY day today.
I don’t think it’s about me. Who knows who is going to read this thread and think doubling up is OK? It may be OK. It may not be. I was just offering a different viewpoint. Obviously I’m not a doctor and my opinion or viewpoint is not a substitute for medical advice from a doctor. But skipping or doubling up a dose that you are not sure of, whichever someone believes in or not, is an issue that may very well effect 80 or 90 % of the people on here. So it’s important to get the facts out or the options. Even the most innocent or innocuous posting like this particular thread can affect some people. I qualified my statements with the advice to consult a doctor. These are powerful meds that people need to be careful of. Maybe skipping a dose is wrong, maybe not. A doctor knows.
the other night the same thing happened to me I couldn’t not remember if I had taken Seroquel or not so in the end I just took half what I normally take.
My contribution was pointing out that it is an issue that could affect many people and that people should know both sides of the argument but that a doctors opinion on the issue is the bottom line.
There is no discussion. I’m not advocating anything. I don’t ■■■■■■■ care what anyone does if they’ve forgotten if they took them. Who cares one way or the other? Neither choice is going to hurt.
Damn, of all topics to pick to start a confrontation this one is pretty lame.
