Dopaminergic drugs, etc

Dopaminergic drugs, which act on the neurotransmitter dopamine in the brain. Mirapex, Neupro, and Requip are FDA-approved for treatment of moderate to severe RLS. Others, such as levodopa, may also be prescribed.

All these three [ Mirapex, Neupro, and Requip ] have moderate drug interactions with Rasagiline so I can’t use any of these for Restless Leg Syndrome.

Others, such as levodopa, may also be prescribed.

I can use levodopa ???

Interactions between your selected drugs
Moderate
levodopa :left_right_arrow: rasagiline
Applies to:carbidopa/levodopa and Azilect (rasagiline)

The side effects of levodopa may be increased when it is used in combination with rasagiline. You may need a dose adjustment if you have been taking levodopa and are starting treatment with rasagiline. Contact your doctor if you experience hallucinations, confusion, loss of muscle control, or movement difficulties during treatment with these medications. You may also experience low blood pressure, especially during the first two months of treatment with rasagiline or after a dose increase at anytime during treatment. Symptoms may include dizziness, lightheadedness, flushing, fainting, and/or a rapid heart rate. Although these symptoms tend to go away over time, let your doctor know if they become troublesome or interfere with your daily activities, and use caution when getting up from a sitting or lying position. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

Is memantine still improving anhedonia? I want to know if the benefit lasts over time. @Andrey is thinking of trying it for his negative symptoms.

After using Memantine I felt better and after using melotonin 6 mg and L-thenanine+GABA+other two combo I could sleep and delusions got lesser and lesser and after using Rasagiline I had clear mind. After I had clear mind I came up with this…

Success is automatic if you choose it or else failure is automatic. - Sagar Gorijala.

Life is a pattern and that pattern is automatic. - Sagar Gorijala.

Each and every existence is a key. - Sagar Gorijala.

Also after using Selegiline large dose or Rasagiline 1 mg dose the 0.5 second of starting mastribution even thought of masturbation gives me severe head ache the head becomes heavy and this lasts all day. So I quit Masturbation completely from today.

My long term memory damage is not recovered, my working memory damage is not recovered,

my Depression is not recovered. My rest less leg syndrome can’t be treated because I am using Rasagiline so I will not treat it.

My health is improved in relative terms.

In absolute terms my health is simply damaged.

But I recovered after using

  1. Aripiprazole

  2. Memantine

  3. Rasagiline

  4. Melatonin

  5. L-theanine

  6. GABA

Sagar, for the last time, please stop spamming the forum with your new “miraculous” drug regimen. You’ve done this in the past, and now you say that the past meds weren’t effective, why should we believe this is different? It’s good that you’re feeling well, so are many of us, but try to keep it simple:

  • Give a med time, months if necessary.
  • Don’t spam the forum, one post is enough, whoever is interested will see it, and in that way you don’t influence new and susceptible posters.

Please!

Point taken. It wont happen again.

I wouldn’t go so far as to call what he is doing spamming, honestly @anon93437440 is causing no one any real harm and no one has found him at fault until you made this comment very recently. Go easy on this guy, he is just trying to improve our situation in his own unique way. You are eliminating freedom of expression by condemning him.

I side with Minnie.
I believe this website is hosted by the United States, a democracy, so I skip his postings because I’m free to do so. If the moderators have to read everything, I can see where Minnie is coming from, my God.

I agree with spam but intention is missing so nothing is a problem in this forum, if they didn’t go easy on me I would be banned. What they do is absolutely correct. I’m very very happy with this forum. Some times I post like I lost my mind, I really did that… and sometimes I post like a awesome quote generator and I actually did that too and the thing is that quote may not be your bread and butter… irony… who can live with it and who can live without it…

thanks to all my friends.

thanks again.

We’re not a governmental organization.

For the time I’ve been here @anon93437440, although a good person that is valued, keeps posting consecutive posts about how his miraculous drug regimen is absolutely the best, this time. It’s not good either to him or to more susceptible readers.

I guess we differ in our idea of what’s right and wrong. I’m actually learning about this in one of my community college classes: ethics. But I feel like @anon93437440 is just giving suggestions of stuff that has worked for him, I’ve learned a lot about meds from reading about people’s experiences on here so I think that is very helpful when people are able to relate what they have experienced.

For example, I never knew memantine was good for anhedonia before reading way12go’s posts. Now I know.

And don’t we all misuse this forum in a way, most of the questions you get on Dx’ed and Sz/Sza are just people complaining about their issues and or something egocentric like that. I think it’s an improvement that someone is talking about the meds which help them.

Moreover, he is posting in the Medications section posts which are relevant to people seeking information about medications.

And he’s been doing what he does for such a long time, don’t you think users would have found fault with what he was doing before now if it was wrong?

Basically take whatever action makes the most sense to you I’m not a moderator or even a regular user on this forum, I guess the ball is in your court now.

I don’t go around on every post he makes about medication saying “don’t do that” I agree it’s good to have feedback on what works.

But sometimes he gets overly extactic and starts spamming around the drug regimen. That’s when we intervene.

Lol, yeah I guess in some people’s opinion he does get sort of overzealous about the meds he is using. But have you ever considered he is just trying to help Szs who are ignorant about which meds are good? Nobody censors Pixel when he’s talking about how much sarcosine has helped him. I talk to people about how my meds have gotten me out of a tough spot. Even you have advocated for the meds you are taking saying they had an almost miraculous effect over time. Maybe we can just all agree that certain meds can be life changers for certain people with our condition.

@eduvigis Sorry to say this. Take it easy friend. The Moderator is doing their job. The Moderator is apt because I did post several posts in a wrong way and you are right because I’m trying to let the World know my experiences.

My cognitive deficits are the sole reason for my failure in life and in this forum. I thank moderators for always being there. Thanks a lot.

Taking drugs like Mirapex and Levodopa is probably the worst thing someone with schizophrenia can do.

These are dopamine agonists and will most likely make you floridly psychotic.

I do believe what you are posting might be irresponsible as vulnerable members of the forum might read it and think it is a viable option.
