so what im not going to live forever, and im so tired of cooking all the time. if i had money, i would just make me a smoothie for breakfast, a salad for lunch, and then go out to dinner every night at a restaurant. that’s how i would like to live i think.
That’s what I used to do in my 20s when I was working.
I’ll never eat in a restaurant again thanks to covid.
I could afford to if I really wanted to, but…
- COVID.
- I make better food at home (I originally trained as a chef).
- I’m a cheap bugger.
I’ve been to a couple outdoor dining establishments during Covid because my brother wanted to go.
I don’t feel safe going.
I did that all through my twenties and in to my thirties.
Finally, I learned how to cook a few years ago.
Now we get take away only when I really don’t feel like cooking or we want something special.
i used to eat up to 20 burgers a week when i was working a lot in my mid twenties lol. thankfully i was doing immense amounts of labour work and just got big muscles
I used to eat whatever I wanted years ago. Can’t do that so much anymore.
If you mean burgers and fries everyday then no.
Once you learn to really cook for yourself you’ll appreciate it no matter the time involved.
I’d eat takeout constantly if my body and budget could take it.
We really only have fast food places where I live. Maybe a restaurant diet would appeal to me more if more options were available.
