"Don't think too much"

I hear this advice a lot here in Thailand. It’s not bad advice but it’s easier said than done. What do you think, is it helpful to you?

I don’t think at all. My mind is constantly empty. I want to have thoughts but I don’t have any

that also sounds like a problem. Side effect of the meds or illness?

For me I’ve worked through changing my emotional thoughts by processing them with a diagram my therapist gave me. Whenever, I feel volatility, I go through the process in my head arriving at a long winded response with evidence supporting my feelings. Needless to say, I take therapy and improving my perceptions seriously. …

It’s a neutral thing to say. Sometimes it’s a good thing to hear, sometimes not. Anyway, there’s are things that we can’t spend too time to think about.

Thats very unusual om, usually people tend to think a lot. I heard people think differently though, something like 20% of the population think in pictures instead of words.

It’s thought withdrawal maybe.
The idea that thoughts are stolen or taken away.
I sometimes believe that sun evaporates my thoughts.

It’s automatic. Beyond my control.
I must have few thoughts but I am not aware of it.
I don’t know…

I think way too much. My mind is always going. When i am manic the thoughts race but even when i’m depressed my mind is full to overflowing. It can be difficult to deal with.
