When I tried to get disability and in the end needed to get a lawyer. That pissed me off. Like I’d take meds for 15 years for no reason.

My family never talks about my illness. It’s a taboo topic. The idea is we’re supposed to pretend it’s not there that way everyone can be comfortable that they and theirs will not come down with it. My sister, who is probably bipolar, will not admit to having the illness and refuses to take anything but anti depressants. My niece, who is my sister’s daughter, also has bipolar and refuses to take any medication at all. She believes that prayer alone will heal her. In other words, I’m surrounded by crazies that won’t take meds and who don’t believe I’m sza at all.

I don’t like it when people tell me I don’t need my meds.
If I were to listen to someone of these ■■■■■■■ s who says I don’t need meds, it would put my life in danger. With friends like that, who needs enemies?
