I started on seroquel and it wasnt really working i got prescription for it at the hospital and they kept uping my dose all the way to 600 mg at night and 50 mg throughout the day. I started getting like restless legs from it when i laid down and my legs would get sore. I started seeing another dr and they put me on invega and it really made a diffrence so they started reducing my seroquel and it was all good. The dr asked if i wanted to start invenga sustenna and i said sure so i started it and was on it a year then invega trinza came out so i asked to switch to it and the dr switched me. I notice the difference alot sometimes i feel like iam normal and forget that i have schizophrenia until i look and see i have a medical appointment coming up then i remember… its giving me alot of functionality back like i had before i had my episode… the dr wants to reduce my 410 mg invega trinza down a dose to the lowest dose and im only on invega trinza and cogentin and thats it now… i never thought id make it to the lowest dose and get off all the pills but by the grace of gods will im doing it. Im scared of the unknown and worry everyday that it will come back and ill have to start all over… i just hope i can live a happy life and not be restricted by this mental illness…
